For now more than 30 years KLH delivers state of the art air conditioning systems worldwide. The company’s beginnings go back to 1961, when VEB Metallverarbeitung was founded.


1961 VEB Metallbearbeitung was created, a factory specialised in
manufacturing air ducts and fittings
1974 Merger with Industrie-Kooperation Schiffbau (IKS). One of the major benefits was the extended range of products of air conditioning and ventilating plants and adequate components like air conditioning central units with or without cooling machine and cabin-units for air conditioning plants to the ship building industry.
1990 Formation of KLH Technik & Service GmbH with an unchanged range of products
1991-1992 Privatisation and integration of the company into RIEDEL Kälte- und Klimatechnik GmbH Nürnberg
1994 Transformation of ELEKTRODYN GmbH in to Kälte- und Klimatechnik Bad Doberan
10/1994 New owner Harald Selck sets up KLH Technik GmbH Bad Doberan
01/1995 Formation of KLH Montage GmbH Bad Doberan
specialising in design, delivery, installation of marine air conditioning, ventilation, heating and refrigeration systems
2000 KLH Technik GmbH was renamed to KLH Kältetechnik GmbH “universal chiller” specialising in design, production, delivery of marine and industrial air-conditioning and refrigeration units
